Plugins

The Web Publishing service allows users to select from a limited number of plugins that offer a range of functionality. The plugins available in our WordPress environments are vetted to ensure that they meet specific criteria including:

• accessibility standards
• acceptable stability
• campus need
• non-interference with other themes or plugins

…and other requirements at OIT Design’s discretion.

A few of the features currently available for WordPress users in the WordPress Blog environment:

• Google Calendar
• Contact forms
• Social Media widgets
• LaTex
• Page redirects
• Google Analytics

The Web Publishing is more flexible and there is a wider range of plugins and functionality available. If you would like to request a plugin be added to the Web Publishing Service please complete this form.
